The mission of the American Business Women's Association is to bring together business women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow both personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.

Founded in 1949 by Kansas City businessman Hilary Bufton, Jr., ABWA was created to support women's success in the workplace. Our organization connects you with 40,000 members throughout the U.S. -- women and men representing all backgrounds, cultures and professions.
